How it all looks in January 2009
Jan 4 2009, 10:15 AM EST | Post edited: Jan 4 2009, 10:15 AM EST
I went up to the woods today and took a load of pics. It's all looking a bit chewed up with lots of off cut branches and debris everywhere. A lot of the original stuff is there (buried, but still there). There's loads of loose wood for berm building, campfires, etc. And so many new gaps for new lines. Have a look...

Hopefully this link will work

Sadly the link doesn't work.
Went up yesterday to start planning out new stuff. Hopefully building can start by end of Jan...need to confirm everything with forestry and do all the paperwork. Intending to get insurance paid in next couple weeks. I'm putting together build plans and pricing up materials, will post em when they're done. Anyone who missed it, the bank account is open and ready for pennies. Let me know if you want acc number or paying-in slips. Happy new year everyone :)

Sweet, yup that works. It's crazy when you compare it to "before" pics. Many thanks. Might head up tomorrow/Friday...I'll post here if I do. Very nice bike btw :) Do you find this valuable?

I am desperately looking round for insurance at the moment....BTCV, who we were getting it through have written to say they are no longer providing new trailbuilding policies. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I'm in contact with IMBA (who also stopped their insurance scheme) and have e-mailed Zurich Municipal. Fingers crossed something will turn up, but we need to get this sorted urgently. We can't start building until it is. Do you find this valuable?

I'm talking to Tennyson Insurance who are putting a policy together. Haven't got a price yet obviously, but fingers crossed this is the insurance well on its way to being sorted. Do you find this valuable?

Insurance is paid. Building has started. Very short on tools, so any donations/contributions would be greatly appreciated. Do you find this valuable?
